Quilter’s Nook Studio offers classes and we carry all your quilting needs. Quilter's Nook Studio exclusively sells Quilters Dream Batting. Stop in and feel the quality of Quilters Dream. | Do you need some help with your current project? Would you like assistance with a new technique you are trying? Every Thursday and Saturday we are open, Quilters Nook Studio will have Open Sewing time from 1-4pm. The one exception the third Saturday of each month, which is Mars Quilting. Happy Quilting! There is a $6 fee for the afternoon, except on Mars Quilting Day. |
| 2010 Block of the Month Pam Bono's Out of the Darkness/A New Beginning You have two choices for the center block unit and the border. The 14 pattern set will be available for $62 that's LESS THAN $5/pattern! Monthly class fee will be $12. We're starting out with two groups scheduled on first Friday of the month - morning (9-11am & 6-8pm) and First Thursday of the month - evening (9-11am & 6-8pm) and will add sessions as needed. We'll start formal registration no later than November with payment for the pattern set and January class fee (total $74). Spots are being reserved on a first come first serve basis - don't hesitate too long to get on the class roster of your choice! | Wondering what Mars Quilting Day is? Let me fill you in! Quilter's Nook Studio helps to make quilts for the disadvantaged youth that live at the Mars Home for youth. We get fabric donated from many loving people (whom we are very thankful to!), to make the quilts. There are a lot of kids at the home who have nothing that they can say is truly their's. With the quilts we donate we give these children something to say is theirs forever and a loving way to stay warm. To get all these quilts done, we have a volunteer sewing day every third Saturday of the month. Anyone is welcome to come in and sew for the kids! If you would like to donate any fabric, batting, gently used clothes, or anything else to the Mars Home, please call the shop, or contact Elaine at (412) 751-1356 |
